Exploration – Rajan’s Playground

During an exploration dive on Trimix at 48 meters of depth off the coast of Pondicherry, India, C.K. Rajan and Julien Fortin discovered of a beautiful reef.

Using standard, helium-based gases does not only make the dive safer and more enjoyable: it also makes the team more efficient. Exploring deeper than 30 meters on Air or Nitrox would automatically mean lowering the achievable objectives: navigating a new environment, managing the team and gathering data in unknown circumstances requires a sharp, focused mind that only helium-based can help achieve.
